You're sitting there reading this, at your computer... and I'm sitting here writing this, on mine... guess we already have something in common.
Reading a few profiles on here, it seems we all want the same thing. Just the wording differs. Someone to talk with, share a laugh, give a hug for no particular reason. The goal is the same, to find that someone special that makes your heart beat just a little faster when you hear their voice. Makes a bad day a little better because you have them next to you. Makes a good day even brighter because that happiness is shared. Something 'clicks'.
So what makes the "click" happen? Maybe you call it Chemistry... Personality...or even Karma. I can't give it a name. I know it is something that emerges when you meet, buds when you talk and grows stronger with tender care. It blossoms into something both rare and beautiful. It is made by man and woman, but not manmade. It's both pricless and free.
Many profiles say important quailities are things like, loves outdoors, holding hands, country roads and family. All those are a good start. I think the more important qualities are honesty, integrity, compassion, as well as passion and humor to name a few. Oh, and lets not forget ......ability to hold a conversation. Afterall, how can we share special times if we don't share thoughts? As for those who say they don't want drama... has anyone actually seen a profile that says they DO want it? Has anyone lived a life without drama?
Sometimes you need to take refuge in that safe haven of your partner, and other times you need to be there with open arms and warm heart to give it. Does that qualify as drama? Sounds more like a perfect life to me.If you lie, cheat or steal please pass me by. I have had enough of that type to last a lifetime.
I believe one of the best things in this world is our differences. We tend to look for those that possess similarities. It's true that there must be some similarities to be compatable, but I think the differences are just as important. If I wanted someone JUST like me to sit across the table and share a meal, I could put up a mirror and be content. I may be older now, but that doesn't mean I need to stop growing or learning from sharing ideas, interests and passions of others. That is important no matter how old we get.
Now more on the personal side...I know I am not the best looking horse in the barn, but can clean up well and when I have on one of my Panhandle Slim western sport coats and a Stetson, I can turn a few fillys heads. I am a gentleman always...I will never try to embarrass you or put you down. Now I might come up behind you while your cooking, at the sink or in the garden and nuzzle your neck and whisper something sweet in your ear and then put you down somewhere else...I am thoughtful and will suprise you with little things that are important to you and only you. I enjoy doing "honey dos'"... Sometimes you won't even have to ask...This one thing is important to me though it is my wish that you have this same interest...I like anything to do with horses. My idea of a great time would be to go camping with our horses, take a trail ride and a picnic lunch spend the day enjoying natures beauty and conversation. After we get back to camp and get the ponys taken care of, build a campfire, cook a dinner together, and cuddle up near the fire, holding hands and kissing until we start our own "out of control raging fire"...you know the rest of the story... ;) If ya have long, maybe dark or red hair, your about 5'2 to 7", petite but not too, kinda average, green or blue eyes, friendly smile, you just might steal my heart...but all you blondes and otherwise don't let that description get in your way if you see or read something you like or don't like and want to tell me so...
