Well, I'm independent, compassionate, affectionate, honest, loyal, petite and talkative lol. I find the bright side; I love to laugh and make other people laugh. I don’t feel or act my age, and can be silly at times (a person who can entertain themselves is never bored). I’m a sweet girl, but I can be sassy. I just handle things with humor (and sometimes sarcasm); I mostly laugh at myself, which makes it ok to laugh at (with) others. The business of life is serious enough; laughter is what makes it magical. And, I’m a nurse, so building a rapport and being able to talk to anyone is important.I like pet names and nick names – they’re a sign of affection. I love to go country dancing. I also love the beach in the summer and skiing in the winter, and I have a PADI cert that I have never gotten to use.I love all kinds of food, sports, and movies. I have only been really camping out once, while tubing down the Guadalupe. It was fun and I think I would like that kind of thing. I can shoot a gun, but I could never kill anything. I also have my own golf clubs, tennis racket and bowling ball. lol I know how to use power tools and am finishing my old house, getting it ready for sale. I can change my own tire, and I have a guitar I want to learn how to play (my son has offered me free lessons).I’m a southern girl and that’s the way I like to cook: chicken fried steak, real potatoes, chicken ‘n dumplins from scratch, buttermilk pie, and there’s bacon fat in my eggs. But, everything in moderation....I can also cook healthfully.I cherish a sense of humor, honesty, open conversation, affectionate touches and kisses, lots of dancing, cooking together. I’m pretty easy to get along with, as long as you’re not offended by my humor at times. I’ve learned to ‘pick my battles’ and not sweat the small stuff.
