Hello gentlemen ! I'm Alamo2014. Some of you have asked to know more about me. So here goes it.
I have horses, cattle, dogs, cats and chickens at present. I have raised pigs, goats, sheep, most any type of fowl and rabbits. I am an animal lover. I take in abused and neglected horses. I first get them back to a healthy state and then work on getting them to trust and love again. I truly love this work. Horses are beautiful creatures and people can learn a lot from them. I love horses. I have a small mixed herd of cows and calves with a few heifers and steers thrown in. I can drive tractors and trucks, operate most equipment especially the Dew-Eze and the undercutter and rake. I love the smell of freshly plowed dirt and fresh cut alfalfa and hay. I can do just about anything when it comes to cattle- pull calves, work, sort, move, check, etc. I 'm not too good at roping yet but working on it. However, I do not want to be the "hired man". I want to work beside my partner. I'm a retired registered nurse which helps on the vet bill!!! And yep, I can build and fix fence and back a horse trailer!!!!
I am very "domestic". I can cook in the kitchen, on a grill or over the campfire. I can keep house, the books, the budget and my temper. And I 'd like my partner to be able to work beside me. I love the country life- none better.
I am also "cultured". I like museums, theatre, community plays, going out to restaurants, going to concerts, libraries, art shows and galleries. I have travelled abroad and some here at home. Still places in the U. S. I would like to see. I can be the "perfect lady" if the need arises.
I enjoy camping, fishing, hunting( I usually just tag along),dancing,auctions, flea markets, antique stores, going to town, going shopping ( this includes feed stores, hardware stores, saddle and tack stores), car shows, and things my partner likes to do. I do like sports but do not usually go to them unless its a high school game. I like watching on tv better. I am a huge fan of the old west, the Texas Rangers( not the baseball team!), and cowboys. I like to read watch movies( cuddle up on the couch with my partner and eating popcorn( intermissions are my favorite part of the movie!!!). Most of all I love anything to do with horses and cattle- stock shows, exhibitions, rodeos, riding, trail rides and drives. I especially like them when my partner participates- I'm his biggest fan!! I enjoy riding, having a picnic and sleeping ( not always sleeping!!!) out under the stars.
About me- I'm energetic and want a partner who can keep up- both work and play. I exercise every am and eat healthy when possible. I'm kind, caring, compassionate, intelligent, have good common sense, humorous, witty, friendly, passionate, spontaneous, sexy, adventurous, love to laugh, outgoing, and extremely loving. I am romantic and a bit old- fashioned. Love to be touched by my partner- like to make love everyday. I'm no Barbie but no Mama Cass either. I' m 5'4" with brown/reddish shoulder length hair, big brown eyes that dance and twinkle, tanned by the sun and my best features are my eyes, smile and my neck/ chest-thats what I've been told. My belief for both men and women- beauty is skin deep and fades with age. True beauty comes from within - from who you are and what you love. I am not photogenic so don't keep pictures of myself- don't do me justice. I'm not high maintenance, not into drama or head games. Open communication is a must for me in a relationship of any kind.
What am looking for- A man who wants his woman to work and play beside him as a partner. A man who is honest, trustworthy, respectful, kind, caring, gentle, compassionate, strong, confident, humorous and loving. A man who cherishes, respects, honors and treats his woman like a lady.
