I'm from North Carolina...single and taking care of my disabled father...I love the outdoors..the country and enjoy what life has blessed me with...I have 2 grown sons...My oldest just went to Boot camp..and my youngest will be married in May...Since coming to Texas my social life has not been that interesting...I caretake my Father who just had a massive stroke on Valentine's Day 2014...So needless to say...I do not get out much and I know very little about Texas...a friend from the VFW just took me to my first rodeo...she and I had a blast...I have to find a sitter for my father if I go anywhere for very long...But...I am definitely looking for a handsome cowboy to sweep me off my feet.... and hoping that the man of my dreams is here somewhere close...Who knows...but its worth a try...There is a question on here about relocation....At the present time...I am here to care for my father...If you choose to get to know me, well I may be willing to move/travel...I have pets, and I value to work I have put into my rental home...By myself I have landscaped and planted everything that is here but the large pine trees...It is a chore to do, but raking is an almost everyday thing to make sure my plants will grow...
Until the time that someone gets to know me, or puts forth an effort...My answer to relocation is no...otherwise...Life is ever changing...

I guess I would like to be surprised...maybe a nice dinner...time to get to know each other...Something to make a night special without just the intimate...I want a friend, to share and enjoy each other...Maybe I ask for too much...But a relationship should begin as friends, from there...Anything is possible if we have that special connection...

J'ai toujours voulu essayer

I am not sure...but...no way can I do extreme sports...no rock climbing, repelling and such...I am a retired dancer/ construction worker...Yes indeed..I did both..I raised both of my sons alone and with the help of my family...I have been divorced for 22 years and well..my ex never wanted to be near or help out with our sons...Its all good...I accomplished quite alot in my life...I now have had my right hip replaced not once but twice...So , hopefully my condition does not scare a man away./...I have much more to me than my scars...and sometimes I use a cane...But..if these things do not bother you...I would love to finally find the right man for me...This is what I want to try ...spending and sharing my life with my Mr. Right...Are you out there????

To live life to the fullest...Enjoy the little things that life blesses me with...I treat people the way I want to be treated...I am a Southern Belle...I was taught to be a lady..but life has taught me to be strong and handle life day to day...I hope to share my joy and adventures with a man that wants me to stand beside him...I do not want to walk behind my partner, I want to stand beside him as an equal...I am headstrong, willful and very intelligent...I believe strongly in my Lord God for only through my faith have I made it this far...I love my family, my Sons and I pray that someday I can travel back to North Carolina and visit my family...Almost 2 years have passed that I have lived in Texas...I now have a beautiful granddaughther, whom I have never held or touched...I do pray that one day she will know who I am...My youngest Son will be married in May...that too I will miss being a part of..yet, I passed my own diamond for this beautiful and strong young lady to wear as my blessing to the union of her and my son....I believe that the Lord leads us through life...It is our own choice that guides us and teaches us what we must learn while we are alive...I pray that the road/ path that I am on will lead me to the man of my dreams...I was once told that to find my True Love, I must travel far far away..North Carolina seems a world away to me...I put hope in the words I was told as an 18 year old girl...I still believe that the man I seek, and who may be seeking me...will find me here in Texas..A girl can dream...I pray this to be so...My favorite saying...As Above So Below....Only God knows what life is intended for each and everyone of us...I put faith in this...and maybe one day....My knight in shining armor will finally find me...my soulmate I truely believe is out there...I hope to one day meet my best friend, my lover, and my partner to stand beside and honor him as he would honor me...As equals, to make love all that love can be...This is what I desire...Trust, honesty and a union of heart, mind, body and soul...Is this man out there??? One day I pray to find him....

Mon idée du fun

Getting to know someone..having a bonfire out back, listening to music...maybe a drink or two...Long walks...being surprised...I have sailed before..that was awesome....It has been a very long time since I have dated...I guess it really depends on the other person too...Both people have to enjoy the moment and time they are together...Mainly, I just enjoy what life has blessed me with...and one day I truly hope to see my sons again and to hold my beautiful granddaughter...I have been in Texas for 2 years come this June...Life is simple for me...I would love to have an adventure and find true love...
