I've heard it said that in a cowboy's life he will have one good dog, one good horse, and one good woman. In 50 years I have had many good dogs, a few good horses, but haven't found that one good woman yet. I've had good times and bad, but that goes with the territory I reckon. I've seen the sun rise over the Appalachian trail, the white sands of the Gulf coast, the sun setting high in the desert, and sundown over the Trinity Alps. I have traveled many a mile and got the see the "fly over states" from a ground eye view, but now I search for the one that steals my heart and takes my breath away. I have never married and have no children, but that's because I've always been a lone cowboy who always rode off into the fading sunset. Now it's time for a reckoning of my life and to settle down. I'm just an honest cowboy who doesn't like for BS to be thrown my way. I'm a down to earth simple man that enjoys all the outdoors and life has to offer. I'm a bit old fashioned - I open doors for, and tip my hat to a lady but that's just my way of showing respect. My hat, wranglers, boots, 4x4 and southern drawl are just part of who I am. I know how to treat a woman proper, and make her feel like a queen. I'm as loyal as an old dog and committed to my gal - when I have one. I ride hard, I live slow, and I take each day one at a time. I ain't much on the city life, but I manage when I have to. I like to do many things, outdoor fun and adventure being my favorite.

The one thing that I always wanted but has eluded me was a wife, a lover, a companion. A woman who would stand beside me no matter if I was wrong - but not afraid to tell me when I was. I'm searching for an honest woman who ain't tied down with her past, ex lovers... or has one of those "friends with benefits" lingering about. One who can appreciate the cowboy way, but also modern things in life. One who loves horses, dogs, animals, outdoors, and of course indoor adventure. A gal who is looking for a one woman man that will be the last man she will ever need to find. I ain't particular on race so all are welcome to contact me.

I am 100% healthy, active and prefer a woman of the same kind. Age is not important if you are healthy and feel young inside. I still feel like I'm in my 30's and sometimes act like a teen but that's just to have some fun - and I have more stamina than most 25 year olds.

I ain't deep rooted where I live now and I would relocate for the right gal so distance is not a problem. Looks are not as important as the person inside, but please have current photos and not just ones that show what you used to look like, I want to know what you look like today so I will know who to look for if we meet. Horseback riding in the mountains with a picnic lunch in the saddle bags, maybe taking a stop at the creek to sit on the bank and watch the minnows nibble at our toes in the water while we carry on a nice conversation. This may be reaching a bit - so I reckon a good cup of coffee at a nice place so we can get acquainted would work. I will let you pick the first date and location.
