I am self sufficient, do it myself type of gal. But there are times when I think it would be really nice to have someone to share projects, road trips and adventures with. I love to cook for people and have impromptu gatherings. I am up for spur of the moment adventures. I have been wanting my own horse since I was 7 and learned to ride in a tiny mountain town in Montana. I might have to wait for retirement to have the time to take care of one, hate to think so.
I don't like to be around people who smoke or chew. Social drinking or for "medicinal purposes" is okay. Would love to meet a secure man, someone who knows who he is. Likes to laugh, can take a joke and does not think weekends are for sleeping on the couch. Though down time is necessary after a long tough week, but not as a lifestyle. If he likes to dance - bonus points. I am rusty in that area too and do not want to be. I've been working hard for a long time and need some more fun in my life. I am looking for someone that will motivate me to put the chores aside and head out the door a bit more.

Mon idée du fun

Having dinner & drinks with friends. Going for a hike with the dogs. Going someplace I haven't been before. Playing cards or games. I am presently working on my house inside and out, so most of my time has been spent on projects around the home. Painting furniture, going to tackle laying tile next.

Spelling and vocabulary - I am being honest here. Intelligence is number one for me and that doesn't mean college degrees. Must definitely have a sense of humor, but not vulgar or juvenile. Someone who realizes there are other people in the room, is considerate and helpful. Good manners, knows how to act in any social situation. A man who understands that we do not have to be joined at the hip to be together. Honest and trustworthy. Yes, I want that Eagle Scout. LOL
