My dad taught me to be very good at everything I do. I try hard. I love to cook. I can rebuild any engine, transmission, plumb and run electrical in a home ... and have been known to do a pretty good manicure and pedicure.

My idea of a good time ... is probably anything you can dream up ... I'm easy like that.
A weekend at some lost Bed and Breakfast is a nice bet ... the ante goes up, if you find one with a little clawsfoot tub.
Leather and Lace, Science and Tradition, Boots and Sandals. Hard work is second nature to me.
Openness and honesty is a must.
Some will not comprehend (feel) this ... but I know that, at least 1 will.
Getting real. I discovered that I am always trying to please others. Whether resolving issues with friends or family, or just being there when needed or wanted, and the fact is ... it makes me happy to be that person.
Son-in-law's (Dane) dad called me from Illinois. He said, Hoyt, I just wanted to thank you. Dane and I have a relationship now, that I don't think we have ever had before, and I know it's because of you.
If that doesn't humble you ... I don't know what would.
I learned that when dealing with any emergency or anxiety issues ... "stay on the outside looking in" letting the Holy spirit tell you what to say ... and what not to say.
In order to keep an even keel ... no lies and no secrets ...except for presents or parties etc.
If you hold to zodiac signs ... I am an original Virgo ... and raised by a paternal Leo and a maternal Scorpio.
I can fix anything ... from a D11 Caterpillar dozer ... to a messed up sparrows wing ... and have done wonders with a broken heart as well.
My conversation is wide and deep ... yet to a pinpoint if you want too.
Starting over is tough ... even for a John Wayne aura. I think my aura proceeds me by about 30 feet.
Just trying to convey what I know and feel.
Limbo keeps you out of trouble ... but it's no fun after awhile. It's not a beneficial way of life. Numb is not a feeling.
I love to cook, and am pretty good.
I don't go fishing by myself. Noticing things is not as fun ... when there's no one to show, lightning bugs, the singing of the first locust (cicadas) of the year.
I'm not like everyone else ... I give too much sometimes ... and will help that person that is a taker, more than I should.
5 sisters and no brothers ... and through it all ... life has been pretty good ... even when they turned me into a snowman, with laundry detergent.
If it's not from the heart ... is it real? Is it possible to reach out and get these things from outsideyourself ... if it's contrary to you?
Again ... don't let my introverted views fool you into thinking that I'm simple. Fact is ... I am extremely complex. My conversation can go deep into the marrow of your soul's hiding place ... to the picking out the splinter of that "thing" that's been bothering you for an hour, day, decades. Don't be intimidated ... cause I will make you laugh, right in the middle of my dis-course of "how the grand canyon was not from river erosion ... but just an underground aquifer ... that collapsed in on itself". (You won't hear that from anyone else).
Life is as good and fun as you try to make it. You can be just as happy playing in a waterhose at the house ... as you can on a trip to Ireland. (Well maybe not Ireland 🇮🇪 Erin Go Bragh!!!)
