At 70 I don't ACT my age, choosing instead to agreeably be mistaken for a decade younger. I carry very little extra weight, am both physically and mentally very active with the exception of a bit of a hitch in my getalong (yes, I have used that phrase for most of my life) which is due to be repaired sometime this fall in the form of a hip replacement. I like to think I have a decent sense of humor, have a solid work ethic, am a true animal and nature lover (yep, I've even hugged trees), can repair virtually anything - no kidding - be it mechanical, electrical/electronic, structural . . . , believe in doing a job right the first time, am passionate and protective of those I love, and have even learned to laugh at myself. No mean achievement for a one-time perfectionist. I have fathered two wonderful sons and have been blessed with a pair of incredible grandsons. I'm a former Marine Corps officer, am a licensed private pilot and posses an active Class A CDL to drive big rigs. I even pick up after myself.
