Ein ideales erstes Date wäre

So, normally, it’s bad to have a split personality. They have pills and doctors for that sort of thing. Thankfully I don’t have a split personality, but I like such an array of things that it might seem like that. I blame my upbringing – for the first 8 years of my life we lived in downtown Birmingham. Avondale, to be specific, and it was not hip and modern back then like it is now. I was a city kid and I did city things – art museums, street fairs, going to the park, spending all day in the library. Then, when I was 9 we moved to the country, Springville. It was really different and I felt really out of place until my mom started dating a guy with a pickup truck. He’s now my ex-step father, but he introduced me to mud riding, fishing, hunting, and four wheeling.

I say all that to say this – I love going to museums, seeing a play, visiting the ballet, reading in the park. But I have just as much fun being bounced around in the front of a pickup truck covered in mud. I’m not good at fishing or hunting, but I like the experience. I see guys on here saying that they first date would be whatever the girl wanted. Okay, fair enough! If you are a city boy, let’s go to the movies, have a drink at your favorite bar, go stroll a park or museum. If you are a county boy, take me four wheeling, mud riding, lets go tear up the backroads and ride around for awhile, lets watch me make a fool of myself trying to remember how to fish (its been awhile). Besides going clubbing or taking me to fancy restaurant, I’m pretty much down for any kind of first date. But, I’m the least creative person when it comes to first dates. I’m so nervous to meet you that I can’t remember how to speak correctly, much less come up with a date idea. So, pick something you love, and introduce me to it. Chances are I like it too, or will like it once I stop being an awkward penguin because some nice guy asked me out, lol.
