S oft perfume, a touch and a gaze,
Fuel a tempest of emotion no other could faze.
The lyrics of the muse he shall not compete,
For he only pales by comparison with verses so sweet.

Though not Van Gogh nor Manet’ in fame,
A canvas on wheels and wings he can claim.
The geometry of life has no constant to calculate,
‘Tis variables discovered along the path that determine his fate.

Beneath the armor, slightly tarnished – not new,
Chivalry, love and honesty live bold and true.
A silhouette of height, breadth and strength stands,
With wit, compassion and humor at his command.

His castle –not large, stands waiting to sing,
With sounds of laughter and song that ring.
A lady to grace the halls with her beauty,
Kept like a queen is his task and duty.

As time rolls by and years descend,
As always – on him she can depend.
On love and support,
For her and their kin.
