My friends describe me as honest, authentic and ethical to a fault, with a strong moral compass, fiercely independent and spirited, yet warm, loving, affectionate, empathetic and kind, with an easy smile and laugh. I'm happy with my life, I'm positive, confident, friendly and outgoing, but I also appreciate some quiet down time too. I have a giving nature, but it's balanced as I believe that give and take has to go both ways.

I'm psychologically healthy, secure, reliable, emotionally mature, and I don't have a ton of unresolved baggage from past relationships that I am dragging around. I am passionate about things that matter to me, but I am also reasonable and open minded. I'm not into needless drama or games and I truly appreciate the same from others.

I'm a hopeless romantic with an outgoing, playful and adventurous nature. I have a dry sense of humor and a quick wit, once I relax and you get to know me. I truly love a man with a good sense of humor that can make me laugh too!

I'm smart, perceptive, and I communicate well. I appreciate the simple pleasures in life and I'm down to earth. I'm also loyal, a good friend, trustworthy, honest and I try to keep my virtues balanced.

I'm an animal lover, especially dogs and horses, but I'm allergic to cats. I love the Colorado outdoors, good food, a good movie, and great friends. I'm often told I'm a good cook, and I like cooking alongside a special someone in the kitchen. I enjoy having friends over, whether it's for a casual backyard BBQ, a few beers and a hockey game, or a home cooked gourmet meal and a nice bottle of wine.

I pay my bills, I own my own home, I take care of myself, and I have a clean record. I've lived in Colorado most of my life, not quite a native, but I have done a lot of traveling too.

I don't do drugs, smoke, or drink, except for socially, and I'm healthy with no medical problems, I take good care of my health, and I feel like I'm 30. I eat healthy most of the time. I'm not an exercise fanatic, but I do like to exercise regularly. I've recently joined a gym and work out with weights and jog on the treadmill. I do yoga, meditate, ride my mountain bike and go for walks with my dogs on the trails around my house.

My hobbies include cooking and baking, working on my house, herb and vegetable gardening, digital photography, and I really want to learn to fly fish this Fall. Yes, I can clean my own fish too! I used to be an excellent horsewoman, though I haven't been on one in a few years, but I used to barrel race and show horses. I also like to camp, fish, and hunt. I love hockey and football, especially the Red Wings and the Broncos. I'm also in school finishing up my bachelors degree.

I have a happy and full life with a great job, a house I love, wonderful new and lifelong friends and family, and an active life that keeps me on the go. I'm looking for someone that enhances my life, not to complete me, rescue me, or fill some undefined void. Someone that recognizes and appreciates an awesome woman that looks beyond the surface. I am looking for something real, committed and long term and would hope that you are too. I'm not materialistic, but I do expect that you're gainfully employed and/or self supporting, have a vehicle and your own place to live away from your parents or ex. I find myself attracted to strong, confident and stable men; emotionally, physically and intellectually; but yet one that has a softer side to them and a good heart and soul. Someone that doesn't take life too seriously, and that knows how to have fun and be happy. He knows what he wants, he has depth of character, strong morals, and is genuinely a nice guy.
