I am a southern woman with a strong mind and have raised my children on my own. They are now grown with children of their own and I miss having that someone special in my life. I have been raised in the south and raised my children with the simple understanding that you have to appreciate what you have and work hard for what you want. I have 5 grandchildren who are the apple of my eye. Born and raised in south Florida around horses, rodeo's, and farm animals. I myself am proud of my southern redneck heritage and often find that I miss the atmosphere, it has been a while since I have been in that way of life. I have always welcomed any animal into my home.
I went to college in Tennessee and after living in Tennessee for many years on a farm, I remember as the happiest time in my life. I currently have a Bachelors degree in nursing and working on my MBA, I have a steady career and love what I do. I always keep an open mind until I know the facts then I make my judgement.
I have a compassion for animals and children and cry when those animal abuse commercials come on. I occasionally like to fish...catch and release for me, do not tell others to do the same. I am used to eating animals hunted and raised by the family, I just do not have the ability to kill anything myself.
