Not real sure about this online stuff, but here goes. Retired Marine, worked in IT after retiring. A little reserved until I get to know someone. Pretty much a western fella, most of what I do is part of the western lifestyle. Feel much more relaxed in the company of horse people than city folk. Born in Texas (Lubbock), but father was career Army, so traveled a lot. Love horses (do some team roping, just got a new stick a few months ago. He bucked me off once, but it told me at 67 I can take a lickin and still keep tickin!!!), absolutely love dogs (especially heelers, Aussie Shepherds and border collies). Even though I am 67, I feel inside like I am 35. Unfortunately, my body says, "no you ain't", but I have a tendency to not listen to it (which occasionally gets me in trouble). I feel I am relatively well spoken, enjoy hanging around friends, quiet times with a special someone and hanging around western equine events (especially roping practice arenas or jackpots). I believe in the saying "the outside of a horse is good for the inside of am man (or woman).

Looking for a gal who wants to walk beside a man, not in front or behind. One who is independent, who can walk thru life by herself if necessary, but would rather take the journey with that special someone. Someone who enjoys a hug for no particular reason at all, enjoys her fella coming up behind her and putting his arms around her, and enjoys being playful.
