Well I can tell you that I never thought I would be single at this stage of my life. It certainly wasn't my plan, but I guess one could say I refuse to settle on anything less than what I truly want and deserve. In the past, my career was in part to blame because I had a very demanding career for a considerable amount of time that consisted of heavy travel. However, it allowed for financial security and independence, and I remain incredibly proud of that. Since, I have taken on a new position that doesn't require travel; therefore, I lay my head to sleep in my own bed at night. THANK GOODNESS - living out of a suitcase week after week wasn't my idea of a "good time".

I'm the strong independent type with a very bubbly, vibrant personality. I have been told I am engaging and have a way of putting people at ease upon first meeting. At this stage of my life I don't have time for BS or mind games. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I don't compromise myself or my values for anything or anyone. I'm a straight shooter; so if you don't want the truth...best not ask me. I love the outdoors and ALL things western: rodeos, cowboy symposiums, western swings, the list goes on. I wasn't reared on a ranch, but I sure wish I could say I had! While though I love the outdoors, I also like to get dolled up and hit the town, as well as, hanging at home, grilling and watching the sun go down. It's really not about what I'm doing as much as it's whom I'm with; that's what makes the difference for me!

I want a man that can acclimate to any occasion from boots & jeans to black-tie affairs and be completely comfortable and confident in his environment. In my career, I entertain clients with dinner and events and would like to be accompanied by that "special someone". That someone will be young at heart and be willing to try new things. He's bound a strong moral character. Chivalry will be second nature for him.

I am very strong and independent but I do like to be treated like a woman! Staying fit is also important - I believe you should always want to take care of yourself as I try to do as well. In all my travels I have seen a lot of unbecoming behaviors from both men and women alike which always left that burning question "can a man truly be happy with one woman"? I'm still searching for that answer. I haven't found it yet but I'm sure hoping I will. Life is way to short not to share with that special someone but not short enough for me to settle for less. I'm an open book so if I haven't covered it here then please by all means ask!

All I ask is that your pictures are current and you don't misrepresent yourself (which I've heard horror stories about) and you can expect the same. Not sure this on-line dating is for me just yet as it's all so incredibly new but I'm keeping an open mind. I have been truly blessed in my life and have so much to be thankful for but I would like to add to that list of many blessings and that addition would be my "soul-mate".
