I Would Describe Myself As

I am normally outdoors. I do a variety of outdoor activities such as tennis, softball, mountain biking, volleyball, boating, going to the beach, etc. But those activities are more fun when you have people to do them with, and better yet, someone special. Having fifteen years combined (USMC & USN) military service; I have had the wonderful opportunity to see much of the world. I follow college football (University of Texas) but dont however care much about the NFL. Travel is definitely something I enjoy, and look forward to doing more with that special someone. Concerts are another thing I thoroughly enjoy. For whatever reason, I never went to many concerts growing up. Once on my own, I have made it to many concerts. I am a huge music lover and listen to most genres (NO RAP/HIP HOP), country and rock (classic and modern) being my favorites. I'm not against doing things alone; I just prefer that "special" experience to provide lasting memories. I was born and raised in Texas. My mom and the military raised/trained me right. I can cook, clean and do laundry, say ma´am and sir, open doors for ladies, and more. I´ve been told I´m a hopeless romantic. I am an affectionate person and have no problem snuggling or holding hands. I´m just as comfortable in shorts and flip flops as I am in a suit and tie, and yes, being from Texas I do wear boots and jeans. I speak fluent sarcasm, can be playful or serious, it just depends on the situation. I do have common sense, which these days, is in high demand.
