I'm down to earth, laid back, easy going, and just plain simple. I am strong yet I'm a little on the quiet side till I get to know someone, but I'm an open book with nothing to hide. You can ask me anything. If I don't have an answer right then, I'll search until I do. I am one of the few who still believes in morals, values, and respect for a woman. I still believe in chivalry that is barely existent any more these days; like opening a door, pulling out her chair, seating her before yourself, etc. I'm seeking a serious relationship, starting from a friendship and maybe one day into marriage. But I will not just settle "just to be in one" like some people do these days. You know, the ones that don’t last forever, maybe a couple of years. All that does is waste valuable time and causes hurt and pain in the long run. Life is too short for that.

I'm looking for "my best friend" to share what life still has to offer with the possibility of becoming more if the chemistry is there. She must be mature, confident, and giving; also loves to 'get crazy' at times (crazy...meaning silly, goofy, having fun...not psycho). She must be an attractive woman to me, both inside and out. She must be patient, very affectionate (to me as much as she would like in return if not more), and not afraid to open up and reveal who she is on the inside to those of whom she trusts. She must know what a real relationship is vs. controlling and playing mind games.

Honesty, loyalty, integrity, and commitment are just a few of the qualities I have to offer a woman. If things go right and all the chemistry equations fit, then I'm very much open to the thought of relocation. As I stated earlier, I have nothing to hide from anyone. But I totally disapprove shallow minded people when they judge a person by words or thoughts when they don't know the facts. With that being said, I wish to be straight up front with you as you read this. I am one of those unfortunate victims of a life changing illness. Me and Michael J Fox share the same thing; Parkinson's Disease. I've been diagnosed since 1999. To this day, I continue to battle it every day and will continue to do so until it's gone. I refuse to let it take my life away, and I am one who doesn't give up. I will always keep my glass half full. Just take a look at what MJF has...a strong, loving wife by his side, awesome kids, all of whom accept him as he is. That is what I wish for, to be beside me, not in front or behind, through good times and bad and I'll do the very same for her and the kids. I am willing to accept that package deal. I haven't been fortunate enough to find that special person yet. Most have run away when I bring up the subject of my illness in conversation. So please, after reading all of what I typed here...don't judge this book by the cover, read it for yourself.
