I Would Describe Myself As

Hardest thing in the world is to describe oneself. I'll try...hard working and hard loving. A sense of humour that will either have you rolling your eyes or rolling on the ground laughing. Sunrises and sunsets are my favorite time of day, especially after harvest is done. My favorite views are looking over the fields as the seasons turn and looking deeply into your eyes and seeing love reflected back. Not afraid of dirt or cleaning stalls. Crickets and grasshoppers are creepy though. Lol
I'm hoping that you have a great sense of humour, honour and dedication. You have to be able to stand proud of your hard work, wrap your arms around your woman and family even in the hardest time. Be able to have fun and play just as hard when the farm gets quiet between seasons.
Farming is rewarding work to me.
My dad raised me on 4 things
1 - if you have livestock you have dead stock, hard to hear but true
2 - if you have a hand full of dirt and a pocket of seed, you have all you need
3- love the family and land hard, it will take care of you
4- make time, take time, love and forgive and always keep your anger in your pocket.

I'm a chef and my favorite meals to cook are Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and mostly harvest meals in the field.
Hobbies are quaking, motorcycle rides, horseback fishing and running fences.
