Well I think that it is time to rewrite this, since quite a bit has changed in my life since the last time I updated this little box.
I recently had the opportunity to move to the fair city of Yuma. I got to a point in life where I needed a new challenge and adventure to set off on. I had lived in Fargo, ND for the past 15 years and North Dakota in general all of my life. I think I was a bit stuck in a rut mentally and getting a bit sick of the weather also. So I saw the opportunity to make a career move, and with most things that I do dove in head first with no life vest. Thankfully so far it has been a great decision. This is such a wonderful area and I cannot wait to explore more and more of it.
So to tell you a bit about myself I am kind of a dichotomy in the fact that I can be pretty reserved almost to the point of seeming shy, but I am really a social butterfly, but I like to sit and observe the group I am with before I jump into the middle of the conversation which does not take very long. To quote a former co-worker that sent me a note recently " this place is not the same without your loud sarcastic voice, we found out who was the spirit of the office with you gone."
I love the outdoors and have always been more at home in nature. I grew up on a ranch and have been involved in agriculture my whole life. Since I started college I have worked in Ag. research, most recently I am working as a department lead for a research firm, and am loving every second of it so much to learn with the different crops and cropping conditions down here. I love to hunt and fish, and am just as happy in my tent as I am at home.
I am a veracious reader and I have been called a nerd many times when people have walked into my home office and taken a look at my book case, but I am not ashamed of my thirst for knowledge I think that when we quit learning we quit living and I want to live and explore for a long time yet.
I love to travel, it does not need to be anything extravagant just a compass direction and tank of gas but I would love to spend a year traveling the world before I am not able to enjoy it anymore.
Physically I don't really have a type of woman. But as a total package I am looking for someone with a big heart, and an adventurous soul that loves to learn as much as I do. And hopefully she enjoys or at least learns to my sarcastic gregarious attitude.
