Hi there.

Have you ever tried something on a whim and found that you totally loved it? That was me last year on my first trail ride! Even though I ended up in the dirt(in my version I was thrown, but the conspiracy theorists are saying I fell) I was hooked and started taking lessons. I would say progress is slow, but I can stay on the horse now so that’s a HUGE improvement as far as I’m concerned. ;)

In real life I am a machine operator who works nights(like Batman) and I try to go riding whenever possible. Full disclosure: I am a huge nerd(sorry) but on the plus side I have studied extensively in the ancient Buddhist discipline of not talking to people about things they are not interested in. I do enjoy stimulating conversation, especially with people whose interests are different than mine.

I also enjoy photography, traveling, volunteering and traditional Japanese music(long story, kinda boring).

Why Dateacowboy? I went to my first rodeo last year and I thought it was great. I definitely stood out and got some funny looks, but I have met some really, really wonderful people who love horses so there is a method to the madness. Nothing ventured and all that.
