Ideally, I would like to meet a woman who is down to earth, not superficial but rather has some depth of character, a woman with a soul who is not entirely consumed by what she thinks she wants, that she is blinded to what she needs. I want a woman who will be my best friend and not just my lover. Perhaps expecting to find that on POF is delusional, but I am an incurable romantic and so being delusional is something I can live with.I am looking for a woman who is intelligent, formal education has no connection to being intelligent, it just means you have the ability and dedication to last long enough to get a degree- I know this because I have three degrees and aside from learning some facts it has no bearing on how intelligent I am, but I am very intelligent.I think traveling is the best way to learn and grow and I have done a lot of that and plan to continue to travel throughout my life.I tend to like people that are open to new experiences, who are a bit quirky, people who are not wrapped up in doing things just because everyone else does them. I have tattoos, I am a free spirit, but yet in my professional life my personality is tempered, as most of the people I have to deal with on a daily basis would never get me.
