I' am hearing impaired and wear one cochlear implant. I speak well and read lips. I was born that way. I never date anyone who is hearing. This would be interesting. I own my own home but have best friend lives with me for 35 yrs. reason why is when I go on vacation she watches my home. She is deaf. Meet thru high school. I love animals. I run in marathon to support cancer. I volunteer with police acadamey. I do bowl with women team. I'm really looking for a guy who loves me who I am and not for money as I do the same way. I don't have children and can't have any since I was 21 yrs old due to fibrosis tumers. I love to dance and love music. I was almost enter for miss deaf america in West Virginia but I turn it down. Also I almost went to rotc but I party a lot when I was young but to late now. I flew a plane once in Florida that was the best. Love country and the mountains. I don't do drugs and never been in jail or prison in my life! I don't drink coffee and do drugs. Love the beach. Love to listen to a person play music....never been to a concert also my grandfather plays guitar but he is gone he is full black foot Indian. I'm not a redneck I'm just a fla Rebel . I used to sing with signs in sign language and have a video . My best friend s sister is married to grey eagle name John Harris in wva. Ok more about me as some of you asked.....full blonde hair hazel eyes am 48 years old bday is December born and raised in Florida as I mention earlier... I was born hard of hearing til 5 years old wear my first hearing aide speak very well because had speech classes ...I'm only deaf in the family...I'm the oldest with two sisters and one brother...was married in West Virginia for three years and I filed divorced due to drinking way over the line and abused me so badly in home and out in the street for three years so I ran away got a better place to hide until someone came rescue me and married me after my second wedding in second year my first hubby hang himself, oh well guess what I was married to the mccoys a coal miner son and I learn a lot about the hayfields no wonder. My second marriage was normal thru the years I worked at a post office for two years got laid off then worked as a nurse assist health care got my licenses and worked 12 hours shift for four days in four years until my second husband and I finally got pregnant and was 5 weeks but til then had very bad miscarriage for first time I was very very upset and found out my second husband had non hodgkins cancer he battle 7 years and passed away it was very hard for me to deal with it until 7 months later I date third time very hard of hearing and speaks very well and life's in ky but he came to fla right after he graduated and became undercover, then we moved to kentucky got married I bought a log home first time and we lived there for 10 years and I was working as a teacher aide for 8 years love the job but had to leave and quit due to back lumber muscles spams from the abuse with first marriage soo my third marrige was like a fairy tale wonderful man never hurts me or cuz at me never does drugs but does drink socially , married for 14 years we moved back to my home town in fla 2008 he passed away three years ago due to inlarge heart form the 9 surgeries he had....due to chanderasocoma cancer in his ribs bone cancer was very rare at age 48. Miss him terrible I ran two years grieving at the beach and ran in marathons and not know what I was into and doing until my best friend finally woke me up then I started to travel a lot ...went to Alaska 4 times mostly drove as I went 120 mph for my mom as she was a travel nurse and she gets vertigo so had to drive for her but now she is retired but my sister lives there I flew to Texas , Colorado ,ky, fla, wva, South Carolina , I been into a lot of states but next is the islands and Hawaii maybe next year then I can settled its been three years I haven't dated anyone but I did try for one month a guy treats me like a kid when we ride a 4 arm wheel he adds a seat come on what kind of joke is that, he thinks himself and money, not love for what I wanted .....but I devoted with motorcycles with my last husband for 14 years and when I ride with one...gets very picky about me how I get on or get off remember I'm a rebel and don't put up with someone's crap because I'm not afraid of anyone I went to police acadamey in Louisville ky and graduated one year and learn a lot and now I'm volunteer and retired and worked 22 yrs due to back prob but that's not going to stop me for having fun....also back into bowling .. Now if I get to know someone reall nice to me I will relocate but not so fast..I own my home my car everything I have is good enough for me also on diasability so I'm on two checks a month enough support I go church once a while but I read a lot daily love out doors ..indoors makes me insane boring , don't mind cooking, cleaning and laundry but don't want to be boss around as I don't force someone to do anything. Fair deal. Thankyou hope you understand my feeling here I'm in fine shape I don't smoke and don't do drugs and I don't drink coffee yuck tea is better....hope someone don't smoke in houses it gives me headaches. So that's who I am . I'm not a redneck so hope to hear from some nice and happy halloween in next month.
