Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I'm a very laid back, easy-going person. I hardly ever get upset/angry/mad and when I do it's very rare that I yell or get loud about it. I just don't feel that it's worth it to react like that. I'm very thankful for the values and morals my parents instilled in me while growing up and often times feel that I'm the only person in this crazy world who still holds these somewhat-traditional values.

I'm looking for a guy who has similar values and beliefs, is perfectly happy hanging out at home or spending some relaxing time with friends; somebody who is honest, can communicate with me and is a genuinely good person. I'm looking for a guy who will not only be my best friend but also my partner, cheerleader and lifelong teammate. Someone who will encourage me, support me, pick me up when I'm down, tell me (gently!) when I'm wrong and challenge me to be a better person every day.

I have a huge soft spot in my heart for kids from disadvantaged situations and would love to adopt kids someday who need a loving, safe home.

I really enjoy my job as a high school athletic trainer, and the time I spend working/hanging out with the youth at my church. I love the fact that I get to help kids every day both with athletic issues and with other issues they may be dealing with.

I enjoy the outdoors (hiking, canoeing, fishing, etc.) and relaxing whenever possible. I'm also passionate about reading, and being knowledgable about what's going on in the world around me. I'm definitely not a fan of loud bars or clubs.

I grew up mostly in Wisconsin and love that I get to go 'home' for a good chunk of the summer to hang out with my family, spend some time on Lake Michigan and enjoy the beautiful Wisconsin summer. If I could spend all summer relaxing on the lake and fishing, I'd be a happy camper! :) I don't like being so far from my family at times, but am thankful that I get to spend quality time with them a few weeks throughout the year.

I am by no means a Bible-thumper, but have a very strong faith and am very active in my church. I will not push my religion or beliefs on anyone but I'd like a guy who isn't afraid to go to church with me.
