I am self-employed. I raise cattle and have lived on the same farm since 1980. I work construction in summer as time prevails. I own and operate a butcher shop in the winter, and I am an elected county board member. I spend all of my spare weekends at my river camp on the big Wabash River. I have a daughter that I am very proud of; she is a RN and is director of nursing where she works. I also have a grand daughter that thinks that her grandpa is the best thing since apple pie. My granddaughter has good judgment in men. I am not sure this is the right way to meet someone, but I did not like the bar seen, I did not like it 35 years ago and I do not like it now. I was married for 29 years and still would be if it were not for a little demon called cancer.
I like simple things in life, country life, gardening, flowers, fishing, boating, hunting, and the outdoors in general, and I like country music. I am no couch potato, but with the right person to snuggle up with on the couch and a good movie it would not be to bad. I am what you see, I put on no fronts. I look more like a man from Texas than an man from Illinois. Boots, buckles, and snaps that is me. I was married over half of my life, I am a little rough around the edges. I am one darn good cook, but I do not like eating alone. I do not need any DRAMA or head games. I will not return either of the two.

She has to understand with livestock there are times that cattle do come first, but not all the time.
