Me describiría a mi mismo como
Down to earth, Classy cowgirl . Looking for her perfect cowboy, to ride into the sunset with. He doesn’t have to be perfect just perfect for me. Must love music, dancing, DYI projects . Travel , and most important a man who has enough love in his heart for my kids as he does for his own.
I’m not looking for a texting buddy, however communication is so very important and a must. Being old school no pun intended at our age cell phones were just making their way into our lives and lifestyle. We all remember the car phone brick, and have seen it evolve in to the smartphones. That we all can’t live with out. We can never say I couldn’t call because I couldn’t find a phone……now it’s my phone died not realizing our your expectancy just decreased by a few days.
I have cried, gotten angry, been bitter, hurt, betrayed, to finding peace, joy, happiness, and great full. That my life’s journey took me down this path that I would never wish on my worst enemy. It hurts and affects the people who we care ,love and want to protect at all cost, And that’s our kids, divorce isn’t just my journey but It brings everyone we know it will touch them as they experience similar emotions as we do as we go through this loss of unity it’s like losing a dear loved one to death. I know from experience loosing dear friends while I was going through my divorce, at a time when I needed them the most, and for whatever reason to this day we don’t have a friendship. Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would be a divorced single mother of five. And my years of being alone would be this long, and now I’m an empty nester.I never thought that divorce would be part of my earthly journey. But it knocked on my door and took me by total surprise. And I learned that divorce dose not discriminate it hits the rich , poor, the black white and all ethnic cultures the young, the old, the pretty, and not so pretty. The educated as well as the high school dropout, I learned my journey and path that I was experiencing, that I wasn’t alone But most of all I have learned to trust in myself that I can pull myself up by my boot straps and figure out life’s piles of shit that we sometimes have to go through to find happiness and it makes us determined and strong, it gives us confidence we never thought we had.
It’s cliché to say we are looking for our sole mate is that really a thing, I am looking for someone who gets me and I him, someone I can trust, laugh with, cry with and ride into the sunset together while making new memories as we learn to love again, trust, compromise, sacrifice for each another, and hopefully learn from life’s mistakes.
Faith in the savior Jesus Christ, God, family and in each other is a must, and is so very important in my life. I hope it is for you as well. Are you that special someone who thinks he could be the right one for this cowgirl? Are you that lucky cowboy who wants to ride this next rodeo with me. As we transition from middle age, to wrinkles and silver hair, thanking God that we have our health, family and that we made it another day falling in love with each other all over again as the sun rises and sets on each day, that we can spend it with each other,
