I was born and raised in Florida, my father worked on ranches as a working cowboy, farrier and horse breaker. He and my Uncle were both REAL cowboys not the drugstore kind. I have two Paint mares who are my best friends. I also have 2 dogs and 5 cats. Yes, I am starting to become the cat lady. Someone please help me!! ;). Seriously, I love the land, my great grandmother was Cherokee and I respect the earth. I absolutely love riding in the woods, just spending time enjoying what nature gives. I drink very rarely. I smoke but I am working on that...wish me luck. I am a happy go lucky person who loves time with my friends and the one I love. My favorite things are cooking (I love to cook everything homemade), reading, embroidery and quilting. I love my jeans and boots, yet can "fix up" and go out to dinner, a movie or anything else. Love to dance, I love country music mostly (George is my fav has been since he came out), but I do like the newer music too (if Miranda dies, Blake is MINE lol). I can listen to anything really.

To move to a place where you can watch the seasons change; a place where you get snow in the winter time (I know, I love a challenge. Nothing like sitting by the woodstove or fireplace having a cup of coffee or hot chocolate with LOTS of marshmallows. I just want to find someone I can grow old with, get to the point where we can finish each other's sentences and who will love, respect and protect me. Boy that is sappy! I have had that kind of love but he passed away with cancer at the age of 29. My mother and father were married for 53 years. After he passed, my mother only lived 2 years without him. I want that kind of love; one that can survive whatever life dishes out. That is my goal; there are some who believe that each person has a missing half somewhere in the world. Is it true? Who knows. But maybe someday we will find that missing half.

My Idea Of Fun Is

Going out in the woods hunting, sitting on the bank or in the boat fishing, and riding my horses. I do like going out dancing every once in a while, pig pickins (I smoke a mean hog, lol), BBQs and spending time with friends and family. I like going out to a good restaurant, it can be a family restaurant or a fancy one. I like going to the museum and the movies, but my favorite type of fun is just hanging out at the house or camping with my horse. I can have fun just sitting in the house reading, cooking, whatever. I like to sometimes just meet a stranger and make them smile. I went to the store tonight and they had a sign that said "No smoking and No Public Restroom" and I told the woman at the counter that I wanted to smoke in her bathroom, lmbo...she looked at me weird for a moment, then busted out laughing. I love to make people laugh. I am very deadpan when I say something smart assed and people just bust out laughing...I made that lady's whole night she was still laughing when I went out the door.
