Something easy, low-key, and relaxed so that we can talk and get to know each other a bit. Although I love going out to dinner or to a concert, I'm not a gold-digger and equally love doing simple things such as trekking along the edge of the waves at the coast, hiking in nature, having a deli sandwich lunch at a lake or a simple coffee date to see how we connect.

I'm terrified of heights but I'd love to go up in a hot air balloon just once! (I'd also love to learn more about archery; it's one of the few high school PE courses for which I had a natural aptitude!)

Writing is a soul expression of mine and I've been much more focused and expressive since I left an unhealthy marriage behind. I know I'm finally using one of the gifts given to me by God/Higher Power. I hope to finally finish the projects which I'm refining and get at least one of them published!

Equally important to me is to find my One, the One who is also looking for me and to put my heart into loving this man with all that I am. We wouldn't be here if there wasn't something important missing.

I love being out in nature, in just about any way. Hiking, camping (if the chores are shared!), boating, you name it. Stargazing or cloud watching with my special one is tops.

Mi az ami után kutat?

High integrity is key. (I defined integrity as I see it earlier.) A best friend, someone that I just love being with, even in the very simplest of ways. A man who is loving, kind and tender-hearted and committed and above all, who knows how to cherish his woman. A two-way highway of communication, respect, valuing and honoring each other. Sweetness - that "passion, playfulness and peace" I mentioned earlier. The sharing of the simplest, truest joys.

I'm a non-smoker who can't handle being around smokers and I'm looking for a healthy partner, meaning no addictions. Occasional/social drinking is fine - I drink now and then myself.

I'm feeling the need to further explain some of these pre-scripted answers. I've been separated for over two years and am about to file for divorce. (There is no chance of reconciliation and I've been "dating" for about a year and a half so I don't see myself as rebound material.) My politics are "middle of the road" and my values are old-fashioned, but I do tend to lean left more than right. In school, I was equally as "quiet" as I was a "brain". I'm still on the quiet side, but not so quiet that you need to pry words out of me. I'm just more of a listener, responding thoughtfully to the flow of conversation. Once I know you, I'm warm and animated. Re: shopping. I'm not like so many women that I see nowadays, addicted to shopping as their main form of entertainment (and bankruptcy). But I'm still a woman and I enjoy shopping now and then, usually with a purpose (ie, dress for a special occasion, birthday gift, etc.). As far as relocation goes, I have a daughter at home for one more year and then she'll be away at college. Until I'm an empty-nester, I'm staying put!

I do hope to be able to do some traveling in the future, WITH my One! But I will never underestimate the incomparable feeling of home either, that home that we create together. It isn't about the four walls and the roof...
