I Would Describe Myself As

I enjoy meeting real people because with me, what you see is what you get. I'm honest, sincere and caring. I try to treat people the way I want to be treated, doesn't always work but t try. I enjoy the park for walks and feeding the turtles, fish, cranes, ducks and whatever is there. I enjoy drives to find and watch the deer. I like thrift stores and people watching. I am a simple person born and raised in California until a year and a half ago when I picked up and left everyone behind and moved to Texas where I only knew one person, a friend from 20 years ago, she and I both moved here but she grew up here and has family here. I have my own apartment and I am retired. This move was a nightmare but I am making the best of it, I have a few friends here now but still missing that special someone to spend time with and enjoy life with. I don't do the bar scene, been there done that besides there is only one bar where I live. I have a glass of wine in the evening or a beer once in a while but not big on drinking. I miss some of my family and friends but it is what it is. Guess I'm kind of stuck here since the move took everything I had, people here are different than in Sacramento where I was raised since they are very nice here as a rule anyway.
