My daughter told me once I was a failure because I never got the main goal I started out for when I was a kid (a nurse practitioner). I had a 2 year scholarship for my RN and then I had earned a 5 year scholarship to Heartwick University for one of the few Nurse Practitioner's programs in the country in 1985. My daughter was born 1986.
I told her there are many forms of success it just depends on what your definition of success is. I feel i have been successful. I have raised my children and many others. Doing the things I have done have made it possible for others to succeed when they might not have.
Money and power is not all there is, sometimes the most powerful thing in this world is helping someone do the little things.
