I have been away from the site for quite some time, but I thought I would give it another go. I am a widow, twice over. I have lived life completely enough to know what it is that is really important! I was spoiled by two wonderful husbands, and I enjoyed it, but then, they always said I spoiled them as well! I still believe my Grand Mother's ways were the right ways, treat a man like he is the King of his castle and though he may sometimes come home late, he will always come home! (My Grand Father was a dairy farmer)lol

I walk a path of higher consciousness, and though I am a very Spiritual person, I am not religious, nor even a christian in the conventional sense! If that confuses you I will be happy to explain. The first cardinal rule of the path I walk is First Do NO Harm; Love Unconditionally; and finally Pass NO Judgment on Anyone......once one gets those down, life is pretty simple.

I grew up on a horse and could ride almost as soon as I could walk! My first love was horses! And though I haven't ridden in years, I have no doubt I still could! I still believe in the "Cowboy Code" a philosophy my Grand Father lived by and he raised me to come to understand and appreciate it! When a man (or woman's) word is his bond, the ways of life still hold integrity. I am looking for what I am sure will be my last partner, and though I am 57, I still have a good deal of life left in me to live! I still love to dance, but I am about living in truth and it is the only way that I can live the path I have chosen! I still take care of myself, though obviously I don't look like a thirty year old....but considering I've survived cancer more than once, my body has held up pretty well for what it has been through! (the race horses weren't all that kind to it in my much younger years either)lol

I don't know that I would ever marry again, I really just never thought about it. But it has been 12 long years since the Doc passed and I have been alone long enough. If you would care to find a friend that will be a friend to you unconditionally, message me......and perhaps there is someone out there that some magic could happen with?

Meeting somewhere quiet so that we could talk and get to know a bit about each other would be my idea. Though I'd love to go dancing to maybe a small place that played a lot slow country music, you can find out a lot about how much chemistry you have while dancing in each others arms on the dance floor! Or maybe a walk along the canal, where if the mood was there a little hand holding could take place. Just to get to know each other is what a first date is all about!

I have lived a pretty adventurous life, so I have done about everything I ever wanted to do! I would like to get back to country life. I have always wanted to turn a grain bin into a home. I am fascinated with how they are turning round grain bins into homes these days, or having a barn with living quarters in it!

Meine Vorstellung von Spaß ist

I love nothing more than dancing, especially traditional country dancing, (not that line dancing they came up with)! I still love to ride, though I don't know I could be up to ever competing again! I enjoy rodeos & horse racing. I long walks in the woods especially on a moonlit night! I am a bit of a home body, but being a home body is much nicer if there is someone at home to cuddle with! I love the country and wish I still lived there. I enjoy eating out but am just as happy to either fire up the grill &/or cook a meal myself. I was raised a farm girl, and my Grandmother taught me pretty much the basics of what was important to running a country home! I like the mentality of the Cowboy Code, where women are special and treated as such! I am a widow twice over, as I married men older than me, but I still need a man to look after me, just as I am all about looking after my man! Sometime I think once a relationship is established that dinner and the movie should come after the "entertainment"! lol

I would like to find a man that knows what he wants in a woman, and can appreciate more than just her appearance! I believe that friendship is the first step to a relationship. And if a good friendship can be established then a couple has a foundation to build a relationship on! I hope to find love again? I have been alone for a very long time. I have always worked along side the man in my life, and believe that is how it should be! But being raised by a Grandmother I firmly believe that a man is the king of his castle and should be treated as such! I enjoy doing things for the man in my life! Whether its ironing the linens, his shirts, or just taking him his morning coffee. Surely there is one more man out there that wants a devoted woman who knows how to love a man unconditionally! The only baggage I have, is an 11 year old half Maine Coon Cat that is rather helpless since he was totally declawed and neutered at two pounds! lol I do have a sense of humor and I have lived enough of life to know its the simple things in life that are really important!
